Jill has extensive experience of coaching senior executives and top teams. Her clients respect her wisdom and commercial insight and respond well to the coaching environment she generates through her personal warmth and empathy.
Following a period of time working in Hong Kong, Jill joined Mayer Brown as Global HR Director with responsibility for the end-to-end design and delivery of a high performance people strategy. During this time she led the transatlantic integration of two major firms to create the 10th largest global legal entity. She then spent five years as Chief People Officer at Davis Langdon, an international construction consultancy with operations across EMEA where she led an organisational transformation initiative which ultimately led to global merger.
Jill joined Capital and Counties Properties plc shortly after inception of the company and worked with the Chief Executive to develop a progressive talent strategy covering remuneration, recruitment, succession and performance in a highly entrepreneurial environment. During this time she has gained an in-depth understanding of urban regeneration, luxury retail and residential brand.
Jill has partnered with a number of dynamic Chief Executives and has designed and led strategic global initiatives on a broad range of commercial topics. As well as a deep understanding of business strategy and people leadership, she has led Corporate Responsibility strategy at Board level. In her capacity as trusted adviser to the main Board and the remuneration committee, she enjoyed a clear line of sight to shareholder value and corporate reputation in the investor community.
She is particularly interested in diversity and inclusion in the workplace, recognising the business imperatives for an inclusive organisational culture.
