Youth At Risk

Youth at Risk runs transformational programmes for kids, who are at risk and may already be starting to get into trouble, and adults in communities, schools, employment services, prisons, as well as for families and professionals.

Almost all Youth at Risk’s programmes involve volunteers who take on a variety of roles from life coaching to logistical support at training events to pounding the streets to enrol young people. These volunteers are generous, willing, committed adults who keep the work alive long after the programmes have been completed.

All volunteers receive training, supervision and the opportunity to change lives. You don’t need experience to become a volunteer, just a passion for making a difference.

Alexander has helped with the development and delivery of the Youth At Risk programmes, in particular training for the Life Coaching programme which lies at the core of their practice.

We continue to support the leadership of Youth At Risk, sharing best practice advice and supporting the development of new transformation programmes.

Frontline

Frontline’s mission is to transform the lives of vulnerable children by recruiting and developing outstanding individuals to be leaders in social work and broader society.

Frontline is a Times Top 100 Graduate employer that takes a new approach to equipping social workers with the skills necessary to bring about change within families. They recruit an annual cohort of only the brightest graduates and put them through a programme which includes the teaching of sophisticated intervention techniques, supervision, academic input and extensive coaching throughout.

Working in teams of four, they benefit from the full-time supervision of Consultant Social Workers, who themselves are advanced and experienced social workers trained by Frontline. These Consultant Social Workers also receive expert coaching support from Frontline’s team of Specialists.

Frontline recognises the gravity of its mission and has made its values central to the delivery of that mission. It has developed a culture that reflects its values, part of which is the adoption of the coaching conversation as an essential skill and key to great leadership practice.

Alexander supports the development of this coaching as well as providing direct coaching to the CEO, his leadership body and Specialists.
